When the children were younger, we spent many a sunny day in the garden, we had paddling pools, picnics and played games, it was like having our very own private park. As the children grew older, the annexe was very useful as a ‘Teenage area’, their mates could come around, I knew exactly where they were, I knew they were safe, and what they were up to. Having Huntcliffe school and The Leisure Centre on our doorstop has been a godsend to us. Leading such busy lives, having these amenities so close by has made our family life so much easier. Over the past few years, we have gotten into a little evening routine, a gentle stroll down ‘Mill Lane’, into the woods, through the ‘Valley gardens’ and back up from the front. Sometimes, we may have a cheeky bag of chips on the way back up or a sneaky pint, this is what I will miss the most’’
